This course covers the upcoming sulphur cap of 0.5% in fuel oil from 2020, covering various compliance options and major challenges associated. This course provides awareness about various types of exhaust gas cleaning systems (Scrubbers) and the associated regulations It gives an orientation on how the EGCS works and understand why they are important to the maritime industry. After the course the trainees will have general understanding about the exhaust gas scrubber. They will get acquainted with the rules and regulations regarding Sox emissions and the abatement systems. |
