Course Description:

    Anglo-Eastern Maritime training centre is a licensed training centre for the Maritime Crew Resource Management Course developed by CAE. CAE is a global leader in Maritime Crew Resource Management (MCRM) and Human Factor training. From originating the world’s first Bridge Resource Management course (known as the BRM of SAS Flight Academy), to today’s cutting-edge tailored training learning materials, they have built an unrivalled reputation for developing safer and more effective vessel teams.
    Since then, CAE has remained at the forefront of developing and delivering best in class maritime non-technical skills train-ing for the entire vessel team (Bridge, Engine Room and Shore Staff) under the brand name of Maritime Crew Resource Management. The MCRM programme surpasses STCW training requirements for BRM/ERM and enables participants to identify and use all available resources in everyday situations to cover situations on bridge, engine room, cargo operations, maintenance, as well as those occasions (emergencies) that require deep collaborative problem-solving in complex and rapidly changing environments.

Contents of the Course:

    The course covers the mandatory training requirement laid down in STCW :
  1. Reg. A-II/1 for Bridge Resource Management
  2. Reg. A-III/1 for Engine Resource Management
  3. Reg. A-II/2 and A-III/2 for Use Leadership and Managerial Skill
  4. Reg. A-II/1, A-III/1 and A-III/6 for Application of Leadership and Teamworking Skills
  5. IMO Model Course 1.39 Leadership and Teamwork
