This course conducted on a Full Mission Simulator depicting real life-like situation is a refresher course for Bridge Team Management. Navigational Assessment Each participant is assessed objectively using a set of Technical and Behavioural markers and scores are given against each Navigational shall set and performance of team management while holding the conn during a critical passage situational awareness and their ability to take decisions under stressful situations. |

Refresher Training: Navigational Assessment: This assessment is a means to identify human performance in navigational situations which could be stressful and times, and measure their skill in passage planning, ship handling, use of Nav-aids, leadership, communications and management coupled with adherence to COLREGS. All this is done in a safe environ of a full mission 360deg Navigation simulator. Analysis of the markers and the formulation of summarized observations, allows an excellent debriefing to be carried out after each exercise. At the conclusion of the course an assessment report is prepared which provides the measured scores on each skill set mentioning in the remarks: |
